Fake army officer nabbed in Cross River State after defrauding victims of over N1 million

  

A man who has been parading as an armed force officer in Obudu for a considerable length of time was captured a couple days back after grievances from adolescents he had duped promising them induction into the Nigerian Defense Academy, NDA.

The asserted fake armed force officer recognized as (Major Kola Elijah) is at present at the Obudu Police division for duping individuals from the general population of cash adding up to over a million naira.

Some of those he swindled incorporate; Aweli Gabriel Lishiliniye N150, 000, Kashim Adeloye Ebenezer N406, 500, Abiabe Godwin Ugbe N210, 000, and Audor Peter Bekeh N335, 000.

Presented underneath are bank employees indicating cash paid his casualties.

"It was after his arrest that we discovered that he is not a soldier but runs a boutique in Calabar. He just came to town to latch on the ignorance and desperation of young people to get into NDA and has been using that to swindle them." a security source told CrossRiverWatch
